After-Hours Amazing Race
On Saturday, August 16, 2008, the Library held our third annual Amazing Race. Teens competed in teams of three. They completed 25 tasks before reaching the finish line. Teams used the Library's database to answer questions about the countries being visited during the race. They also performed tasks related to the culture like building a pyramid out of peanut butter and chex cereal in Egypt, eating hot cheetos in Mexico, and making candy sushi in Japan.
